I noticed my kontact app’s icon in my dock looked how an icon appears after the application is uninstalled. Upon opening kontact it appears broken? I rebooted and still the same. I reinstalled it and same. What happened?
Unfortunately it shows up the same to me. No errors when opened through terminal.
In order for Kontact to function as intended, you need to make sure kmail, kaddressbook, korganizer, and Akregator are all installed. Kontact is an app that combines the data from all four of those apps into one app for ease of use, therefore it requires all to be installed to function without issue.
