What games are you playing?

No way, uh uh. I’d be a wreck.

I just transferred a Sims 4 installation over to the Steam Deck and manually moved the Save folder to the correct directory for the EA app. It’s a huge PITA, but hopefully don’t have to fiddle with it any more.

The game ran surprisingly well on the Steam Deck! I only tried on the built-in screen, native resolution, but still, 70-90 fps (limited to 90). I have a feeling the performance will tank when my wife connects it to her ultra-wide display and sets to native resolution. Maybe 20-40 fps?

I was positively surprised how well the default controllers on the Steam Deck worked for the game. Granted, I don’t have any real experience playing it, so don’t know how logical the controls are.

World of Warhips (a few rounds in the morning)

Demeo X Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked (“one round” needs much time, but you can save)

Hunt: Showdown 1896 (when my friends got time, still my most played game)

Star Citizen (it’s getting better and better and I play more frequently)

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (when there is nobody to play)

No Rest for the Wicked (waiting impatiently for coop release).

My wife - who I currently help through hell and grabs everything while hiding behind me - asked innocently: This Monarch is magic, so not worth anything, yeah? Yeah? Well…

So it DOES exist and drop…

I’ve just re/started Skyrim (I never got very far) but this time I’m using a controller. I’m getting better with aim and I never thought about how much better the left analog stick is for walking. No more run a bit walk a bit with NPCs. It probably wont last, I tried it in STALKER and no way can I play that with the controller.

I’m always intrigued by games like FEAR and Metro but I hate jump scares. :crying_cat:

I just got Hogwarts Legacy for free on Epic (go grab it, it’s free until 18th December!) so I’ll be playing it soon.

One day I will get over my dislike of 3rd person games (probably fueled by the awful camera views in Tomb Raider 1) and there will be a huge library of games for me to play. I’m starting to mix it up with a bit of 3rd person in Skyrim so there’s hope!

:scream: Don’t tell me you never played Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic series or Mass Effect Series ?

From the same writters and creators a game called “Exodus” is in the make. It’s a game on my wishlist and i will pre-order it when it is possible.

That sounds very interesting. I’d need a new PC for unreal 5 engine though. I have some money aside for something. Maybe I will invest in a modern gaming PC next year.

I’ve never played Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic or any Mass Effect title.

I even haven’t managed it to get past an hour of game play within The Witcher III. Didn’t checked my boxes, would have required some effort to get used to it’s mechanics (melee in combination with spells). And somehow … it distracted me that the in game proportions felt way off.

I enjoyed this game alot more than I expected to, have fun exploring the world of magic

Which Tomb Raider game exactly are you talking about?

From the post I am thinking the very first one, I had it on ps1 but don’t think I ever got past the first level lol

Thanks mate. I started playing a few hours ago and I’ve got to say after the slaughter, anxiety and insanity of Cyberpunk 2077 and Dead Island 2 it’s really nice. It’s a beautiful looking game isn’t it.
