šŸŽ® What games are you playing?

I’ve started playing Skyrim again after it wouldn’t run on my main computer for a while. It’s working again now, for whatever reason …
I also play Wasteland 3 every now and then.

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 again, I am on the 11th play through, send help please :face_with_thermometer:

Edit for V:

Games with this sort of repeatability are great - one day I’ll get around to playing this

It got very good after Update 2.0 and release of the Add-on. I hope you find the time to play it at some point.

Best game in the world in my opinion. I’ve played through lots myself. The Hacker-only Netrunner style, the Hitman pistol-only hide all the bodies style, the Berserker style, the Guns-blazing style, the Thor of Asgard style, The Shinobi style, etc.

Only thing is missing from this game is a 3rd-person mode so I can see the whole thing like you can in Hitman.

I’m more of a brawler and samurai type. I either use gorilla arms (with berserk) or what I prefer katana/mantis blade (Sandevistan ). I had one Netrunner mostly stealth. I don’t like firearms all that much except for ā€œGutsā€.

I also play at very hard because with the right it gets much so easy on normal.

You don’t want to see the animations which are very poor in 3rd person. Just look at the shadows sometimes. Awful.

Edit:

There are Mods that can mostly fix this but I play without them.

Edit 2:

Update 2.21 is out now.

I didn’t see this video before, but I saw another one. This is not how I remember it!

But yeah, I knew there are mods for it, and the video I saw also was bad, so I chose not to use the mod. Hopefully, if they make a full sequel, they make it so you can play in both first- and third-person, or a hybrid, when aiming with a gun or knife goes first-person, while other weapons stay in third, or all three modes.

Damn. Had a feeling there was gonna be another patch soon. I gotta go move some files around so I can download and install it because I’m almost sure 50 GB free is not enough.

Patch is around 3-4 GB but i could’t update because of an error (on GoG using Lutris). I tried it twice. Made an backup of the saven and pictures. Now I download and install the game again.

Edit:

I hope that CDPR doesn’t make the same mistake again with the sequel as they did with the release of Cyberpunk 2077. They just got their act together, even if it didn’t do their reputation any good.

I don’t care if it’s 1st or 3rd person. But I think I like 1st better.

Oh, I use Steam. Not sure why, but patches for Cyberpunk 2077 are always 40+ GBs or more, though they don’t take up too much more additional space. Maybe the way Steam handles things, the downloads are larger. I dunno why. It’s slightly annoying.

Thankfully, the downloads use my full bandwidth if I let them, so 40 GB downloads in like 10 minutes or less as opposed to 10 years.

My ā€œupdateā€ now was around 145 GB. Good that we got Cable (1 Gbit) here.

Thinking about getting started on Foxhole again…

Got this in Early Access but only played a few hours. Installed it again yesterday after a friend asked. Could not catch the spirit and got dissapointed really fast. Uninstalled.

Instead bought Arma Reforger and jumped in. We had a blast 7 hours straight. Worth the money. Remembered me at long gone times with Operation Flashpoint.

I love OP Flashpoint but I didn’t know Arma Reforger… gonna have a look at it!

I laughed so hard. Haven’t had such fun in a long time.

I will be playing this game when it releases!

This is why, after purchasing Cyberpunk 2077 as a pre-order, I will never again buy a game for its advertised ā€œfool priceā€.

That, and I only play single-player games anyway, so there’s no rush or incentive for me to buy anything early.

I never pre-order any games, there are more than enough out there I haven’t played and sales around to keep me going, then there are mods, fan games and the like as well

Was playing Borderlands 2, then I went to start modding it. Well after diving down a rabbit hole for almost 16 hours I think I might just play it nativley without the mods, I can figure out roughly what to do but the payoff is not worth the workload, especially when you just want to shoot and loot

Borderlands 2 is an awesome game, IMHO the best of all of the Borderlands series, they totally ruined it for me with 3. I’ve just started playing Fallout 4 again. I had 700 hours in vanilla, un-modded Fallout 4 from about 6-7 years ago and I’m now about to hit all the expansions for the first time.

Unfortuneltly can’t play thes games on current hardware. But yes BL2 is what they need to aim for with a few of the mods I was after (revieve self, and loot distribution being a bit better under single player)
