Been playing this with my daughter (couch co-op). Itās been good fun.
Love the graphics and that music
Too bad Codemasters decided that you shouldnāt be able to buy it anymore, because fudge you, idiot! You donāt know what you want! You want the newest version of the game, not the old version!
Ah that sucks. Iād probably just buy 2.0 if I had neither anyway. Apparently they did not release a Linux native version of 2.0 maybe because they knew people could just use compatibility layers.
I also have a repack version (cough) of it because I went through a phase of disliking steam. They donāt help themselves with all this DRM and removing games from stores do theyā¦
Not really Steamās decision to do that, as much as it is Codemastersā decision to go āfuk youā in particular. Very nice seeing pirates in such nice shores by the way. ![]()
Just finished Gris and Phoenix Springs. The former is utterly beautiful, if straightforward. The latter is a point and click game with an extremely striking presentation and a complete headspin of a story. The closest comparison is probably the book Annihilation, by Jeff Vandermeer (not the movie - itās good but less subdued).
Iād recommend both, with the caveat that both are very specific experiences.
Most the games on my Steam list I bought when Windows7 was still supported.
I never considered the fact Iād have to match Microsoftās hardware & software upgrade cycle just to run the Steam client to continue playing those same games.
Back on legit versions of those games now thanks to Valves excellent Linux support!
There are some good bathesda deals duo 40y anniversary on steam. The ones i will buy are
Wolfenstein Collection: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/15435/Wolfenstein_Alt_History_Collection/?curator_clanid=33028765
DOOM Eternal Deluxe Edition (Post-Launch): https://store.steampowered.com/sub/370452/
DOOM The Dark Ages: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/1221725/ has also a nice discount, but i am sure this one will be priced lower in the future. So i am thinking about it to probably skip this one for now.
Doom Dark Ages Premium Edition bought from
USD price $30.36 (on sale) converted to Euro it is ā¬26,34 which i also paid. Which means i got 76% discount compared to the 67% on steam (ā¬36,29) ![]()
If you hurry you can beat it just before the sequel comes out! ![]()
I played the DLC recently I donāt like the new gameplay flow they added to it, so Iām not going to finish the DLC. The base game was fun and enjoyable but it doesnāt feel like Doom anymore the wya itās played, my favorite one was the 2016 one and Eternal was fun as well but it was too focused on getting you to play with different weapons so I enjoyed it less than 2016.
I am the director now, so Iām a little closer to finishing.
That said, Iām probably never paying fool price for a game ever again, so it will likely be years before I buy the sequel. Iāve got a backlog of games I can play until then.
Imagine how i feel with 2x 4tb
. Canāt get it full ![]()
download a few triple a titles and it will get you there lol, but thatās an insane amount of space, did you bought it before the prices for storage went boom?
