Maybe our Swedish friends here could help?

yeah, i had hoped for that. a shame the record does not contain any lyrics.

Today I put my music video collection on random and was presented with a very eclectic mix. It started with some music from Lebanon.

Mashrou’ Leila - Lil Watan

Went back to Thailand.

Bannk Ca$h and Yinglee - Number One

Bodyslam feat. Buddha Bless and Fukking Hero - Sticker

next an older one but still a fun song.

Tattoo Colour - ขาหมู (Pig Leg)

Finally, after a couple of hours, I ended on one of my favorite live performances.

Within Temptation and the Metropole Orchestra - Ice Queen

When I first heard that concert several years ago, I liked it so much that I bought the Blu-ray. I had to import it to the US.

The screams has died out, the beating is over
I hear someone breathing, heavily in your soul
They opened doors, that no one can close
Don’t wan’t to go, but what can we do… and then

Yes, turn around…

We die in silence, but get buried in words
All the lies that are forced in to my body
Naked but yet ugly and mute together

Turn around

We die in your hands, your hands, hands covered with steel

All I feel, is your secret
Beyond description, that is all I se

What no hands do, as long as I am alive
No we must find a way, you must turn [back] to me

The screams has died out, the beating is over
I hear someone breathing, heavily in your soul
Now you must find me, you must wait for me

You must wait for me
You must wait for me
You must wait for me

Sorry that it took some time, but att times it was really hard to make out what he was singing.

If you’re in to that kind of music, I recomend Ebba Grön, Imperiet, and Thåström.

you have all the time in the world, my friend.

thanks a lot for translating. now I can rest in peace, finally knowing about the lyrics after all that time.

We aim to please, but I’m not really sure that my employer agrees that I have all the time in the world.

You have an excellent taste in music, so of course I’ll translate.

PS. I ran out of likes, but consider Winter Light liked. DS.

i love the scandinavian alternative scene, especially the swedish one. it had some really outstandig music to offer which is still fresh by today’s standards. to be honest, i’d much rather look at what was, the zeitgeist of the past days simply suits me much better in so many ways.

here is another favourites of mine:

not swedish :scream::

Thanks, I appreciate that kind of music a lot, and was a (fringe) part of that scene back in the day.

Right now I’m to busy to sit down, but tomorrow I’ll have a large glass of red wine, and go through it all!

There still is some good new fresh music being made, but you have to be an excellent internet sleuth to find it, as everything from the big companies is streamlined rubbish.
