For EndeavourOS, the first thing I do in a fresh install is…
Then I install Timeshift, install Pacseek, install Gear Lever, install Klassy theme, and enable Discover for Flathub-only.

Try a TUI instead use pacseek
I run a very different install for my Desktop and 1 Laptop than I do the other Laptop. The only one I install a DE on is the Lenovo Laptop. I install Openbox on the other two so I actually just use the installer to get the core system then I run a package list with my requirements and have my system up in a matter of a few minute. I then just re link to my private document folders and reset a few program config files from a backup. All use Online option so no updating needed after install. I then just update my mirrors, Then I install my AUR packages also using a package list.
Then Benefit.
Totally agree that Discover would be even more great with Arch repos and AUR.
I just tried SystemdGenie and it seems like a really good tool! Thanks for sharing.
It was very long time ago I tried this one and don’t know how far it has come
What are standard things you do after a fresh Linux install?
After I successfully install Manjaro, I join Archs’ forum and ask how I can Install Microsoft Edge on Linux.
Cool. Let us know what you find. With Google Chrome going to be sunset or get stagnant thanks to DoJ, will need an alternative. MS Edge does look great option.
