Not sure if this qualifies as an “application” but it is sort of: https://github.com/IceWhaleTech/CasaOS

Running it on top of Raspberry OS on RPi 4b:

I’m just finding my way around it but it looks like a very nice way to create your own home cloud and selfhost a bunch of different services.

Nice find.
I assume you installed this from the AUR ? If so, did you just install casaOS or any of the other casaOS packages?

EDIT:
Did you install this with a DE or WM, or bare bones headless install?

dunst. way better than the imho awful plasma notifications

Hi Pudge,

I am actually running it on RaspberryOS at the moment.
Currently I don’t have an EnOS ARM system but as soon as I have, I would like to try it there as well.

The RaspberryOS comes with Lxde. I have switched to Plasma and removed Lxde. I have tried my best to remove all lxde-related packages but probably there are still some leftovers.

All in all it’s a pretty nice system and CasaOS runs smoothly on top of it.

The installation is also quite straightforward. A matter of copy-pasting a command line:

https://github.com/IceWhaleTech/CasaOS#quick-setup-casaos

You might want to have a look here too:

I think it’s admirable that people make an effort to create options/alternatives.

Clipious is an Android client for Invidious, the privacy focused video player.

Throttled: Do you have an intel laptop which underclocks your cpu (with no way to circumvent this) when it’s under more intense load? This program will most likely fix the issue, it surely has fixed mine

GModCEFCodecFix: If you play gmod, please use the Linux native version with the x86_64 branch. This branch fixes the crashing and performance problems of the native port and adds stuff that wasn’t present on Linux native, like super DoF. You might end up in a black screen with this branch, so this program patches gmod for you to fix that
