GNOME has MATE. Similar KDE Plasma has Trinity Desktop Environment, aka TDE. Does anyone use this? Is it still functional? Can we install and run TDE on Arch/EOS?

I last used it about 4 years ago just to try it out for a bit, was quite usable from memory.
Yep It is supposed to be light on resources. I was thinking as my computer ages, I can switch to TDE and still keep on running EOS
That’s what I used it on was an old laptop I had at the time. I think you need to add a repo for it but after that it is very easy to install and use. Another lightweight option you could consider maybe openbox, it is very light on resources and can be set up nicely.
I tried it a few years aog. It was alright but not spectacular It looked too old for me.. Installation is simple though, so having a go is easy.
