What about rsync and Timeshift, does this work again?

Some time ago there was this problem that the derzeige version of rsync caused an error in Timeshift, whereby no snapshots were displayed in Timeshift. It was the version rsync 3.2.4-1, which could not work with Timeshift anymore. This version is still up to date, but maybe Timeshift has caught up now? I don’t use Timeshift anymore (at least for now), but my girlfriend would like to have it back on her computer. Before I do a maybe pointless install and uninstall: Is it now possible to use Timeshift again with rsync normally?

I am using Timeshift without issues, on a laptop with Ext4 and on the second one with BTRFS. In both cases with KDE desktop. (And of course, with Eos)

Thanks , that it works with btrfs is not in doubt …
But that sounds good already

I’ve been using Timeshift since I’ve installed EOS (about 2 months ago) and its working without issues on EXT4 and XFS partitions. I only create snapshots before some kernel updates and, by the way, EOS is pretty stable and I’ve never had to restore any snapshot.
