You can uninstall welcome for a while and update to version 3.68-1.4 when it is in your specified mirror.
Tip: mirrors moson and alpix (in Germany) have the latest version.
Or simply install eos-qogir-icons.

I’ve installed EOS many times. It’s never had these icon before:
It actually looks good now since you had me install that package.
Would i install this through pacman or from Kde settings Icons?
pacman
Okay maybe I’ll wait. Usually I get updated stuff from mirrors rather quickly. Not right now though!
The reason for the problem was the missing package eos-qogir-icons.
So up to you, either install the missing pkg or wait for the new welcome version. Both ways will fix the issue.
Oh okay… i thought that was just a work around temporary.
And sorry about this incident. When I released welcome earlier today, for some reason I thought eos-qogir-icons was installed by default, but as it turned out, it wasn’t. My bad, should have checked.
I thought maybe someone was messing with Welcome? It looks different lately.
Hopefully now welcome has the icon problem finally sorted.
no need to actually use them as icons it is only a dependency for welcome … and welcome will use them independently from chosen icon-set anyway…
