I managed to get a hold of a free XFX Double D HD 7950 off a colleague. As per the Arch Wiki it seems like I should be able to install the mesa and vulkan-radeon packages.
The only potential snag as of now is I see it’s suggested PSU is 550W, I have a 450W… though I’m not gaming or pushing the graphics… so we’ll see…
