I can’t insert text into VSCode through the menu and through ctrl+v. It is inserted only via ctrl+shift+v. In the menu itself it says “copy (ctrl + v)”. The text can be inserted in the terminal. in the settings, the key is set to ctrl+v. I tried reinstalling it, but it didn’t help. Ctrl+v is done in the system settings, and ctrl+v is also done in the terminal settings. Is it the OS?

Appears to be a known bug with VScode and the version of Electron. No official fix yet but here is a thread with some work-arounds: Paste no longer works with Electron >= 32.3.0 #238609

Thank you very much, I found a solution on that forum. Just deleted the keyboard shortcut.
