Vivaldi wont uninstall properly?

Hi,

I tried to uninstall vivaldi with sudo pacman -Rns vivaldi and everytime I reinstall it, all my settings and previous session are still present. How is this possible? I even tried removing all orphaned dependencies etc.

I need to perform an actual clean install because I had some sync issues and I was surprised to keep running into this same result.

Uninstalling a program will never remove the data in your home directory. This is true of all packages.

Likewise, reinstalling won’t help with the problem you are having.

If you want to clean that, you don’t need to reinstall. You can just delete ~/.config/vivaldi
