Virtualbox seems doesnt detect USB key plugged

Goodmorning, I installed VIRTUALBOX by pacman (NO YAY), Then I installed VB Extension and Virtual Box Guest addiction in The virtualmachines, i have a VM Debian 12 and a VM Fedora 38, neither the first nor the second is able to recognize usb plugged in. I verified that my user is added to VBOXUSER in the Host system (Endaevour) and the administrator user in Virtualmachine is in the vboxsf group, so i can write and read from the guest machine a share folder with the host but the usb has not been detected by guest.
Does anyone had the same issue?
Thanks for help.

Is virtualbox-ext-oracle installed on the host machine? In my use case I have the extension pack installed on the host only and have enabled a USB controller in the settings for the VM.

I don’t know What Is going wrong.

Host system Endevouros
Guest System Debian 12
No Windows
Nany tutorial assume that Windows Is host o guest System.
Extension pack installed in virtualbox
Guest addiction installed in guest, they seem work because screen resolution of virtual machine Is good.
When i start VM the USB device has been unmounted on host system but Is not recognized by guest

This tutorial might interest you as it’s using a more recent version of VB compared to the other link posted before.

If you could please mark which post solved your issue

To say the truth , a bit all of them helped me, but yours was better because doesnt assume you were using Windows either as host or guest machine. Anyway i thanks all people helping me.
