Hello
I just installed Endeavour in a virtual box ( hosted by an another Linux OS ) ; it works fine exept that I can’t share folders with host system .
Impossible d’insérer le disque optique virtuel /home/kokovf/.config/VirtualBox/VBoxGuestAdditions_5.2.34.isodans la machine Endeavour20.
When I select " insert CD guest additions " I have the followinf error :
Blockquote
Could not mount the media/drive ‘/home/kokovf/.config/VirtualBox/VBoxGuestAdditions_5.2.34.iso’ (VERR_PDM_MEDIA_LOCKED).
AFAIK Linus removed virtualbox filesystem (vboxsf) support recently from the newest kernels.
If I remember correctly, the reason was the problems with that filesystem.
Maybe they’ll put that support back, but I don’t know about any schedule.
I could easily test it in a Lubuntu VM with mainline kernel rc1, but L.T. recently disabled the vboxsf module late in rc6 or so. So this doesn’t make sense at the moment.
@endko, really? Let me guess…Bionic L(ong) T(erm) S(leeping) as the host. At the first you should change to the 6.1 series (or kill Ubuntu, hrr). VMs are retained.
