Videos do not play after screen unlock the screen before locked

if I want to watch a video through vlc, smplayer, kmplayer the video does not come out or the player crashes. parole media player doesn’t suffer this issue but only.

Started to occur after recent update. I can’t figure out which was. I didn’t find anything in the logs that said anything in particular.

Palliative solution was to restart the lightdm service and fix until lock the screen.

sorry for my broken english.

Can you post the output of inxi -Fxz ?

You can try to install sudo pacman -S intel-media-driver
If that doesn’t work can you post inxi -Gx after sleep (when the issue occurs)

Also, vlc logs might help

after I install intel-media-driver, i tested few time and fix this problem. thanks a lot.
