Don’t know what else to say here, just that reinstalling and using different environment variables i saw online didn’t fix it.
Any ideas?
Have you used Discord for a while? Have video and gifs ever worked?
What desktop environment are you using?

I performed a system update and restarted prior to using the provided command, doing so didn’t fix the issue.
I don’t use discord, so I’m approaching this from a general troubleshooting perspective. Others who use it may perhaps be able to offer confirmation of the issue, or other things to try.
What’s the output of:
yay -Q | grep ffmpeg
It’s not unusual that applications make use of that, although I’m not sure if discord does. If you’re using a custom version (like an AUR version), it’s not unusual that it may need rebuilding after an update.
I’ve uninstalled yay in the past and currently use paru, here is paru -Q | grep ffmpeg instead:

For discord I’m using the extra/discord package
No issues with using paru. I default to referencing yay because it’s typically installed with EndeavourOS.
Nothing looks out of the ordinary from what I can tell there.
