Verfallener Schlüssel macht Probleme

Hallo!

Ich habe seit ca. 3 Wochen das Problem, das ein Paket ( libidn11 1.33-2 ) nicht durch eine neue Version ersetzt wurde.

Dieses neue Paket hat angeblich einen verfallenen Schlüssel. Ich habe die angegebenen Mailadressen ( Simon Josefsson simon@josefsson.org, Simon Josefsson simon@yubico.com ) angeschrieben - leider ohne Erfolg.

Nun habe ich 2 Fragen:

  1. Kann ich es dennoch innstallieren

  2. Wofür wird dieses Paket wigentlich benötigt ? Ich finde dazu keine Zugehörigkeit.Da es ein Paket aus dem AUR ist versuche ich herauszufinden ob ich es nihct einfach löschen kann.

    Hat jemand eine Idee?

Ich habe auch flgendes versucht:

Allerdings sagt mir das gar nichts. Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen?

Und was das Löschen des Pakets angeht, würde ich sagen versuch es einfach. Wenn ein anderes Paket von libidn11 abhängt, dann wird dir pacman das sagen und dich nochmal um Bestätigung bitten.

ok. Dann bleibt dir wohl nichts anderes übrig als das problem irgendwie zu fixen.

Versuch mal ohne sudo. Es handelt sich um ein AUR Paket. Die werden unter deinem user gebaut. Erst bei der Installation wird root verlangt.

Ich konnte das Paket gerade normal bauen und installieren. Ohne sudo beim recv-key.

Ich würde es deinstallieren. Mal sehen was passiert. Wenn Steam rsich beschwert, installiere es mal wieder…

Zur not bleibt dir noch steam flatpak. Das benutze ich seit 2022 weil ich andere Probleme mit native steam hatte.

Allerdings speichert steam flatpak die Spiele in einem anderen Pfad. Musst du alles nochmal runterladen.

Die steam-native-runtime brauchst du nicht. Meine Empfehlung wäre diese zu löschen ( yay -R steam-native-runtime . Da brauchst du dann das oben von dir genannte Paket auch nicht mehr.

Steam gibt es im multilib und kann mit sudo pacman -S steam installiert werden.

Ok, wenn ich die die steam-native-runtime lösche kann und mit sudo pacman -S steam wieder neu installiere.

Müssen die Spiele auch wieder neu installiert werden ?

Da ich Steam nicht nutze sondern meine Tochter über ihren Account spielt wäre dies schon interessant. Die Profile sind davon wahrscheinlich nicht betroffen, oder ?

Normalerweise nicht. Installiere erst steam und dann deinstalliere die steam-native-runtime.

Zur Erkläreung:

Ich hatte damals auch die Steam-native-runtime bis vor ein paar monaten genutzt hatte aber auch Stam normal installiert. Seidem aber die steam-native-runtime im AUR ist nutze ich diese nicht mehr und habe die deinstalliert.

Wenn ich es deinstallieren will bekomme ich die Meldung Warnung: steam benötigt optional steam-native-runtime: steam native runtime support

Da stellt sich mir die Frage welche Aufgaben die steam-native-runtime hat.

“Optional” heißt das man das nicht unbedingt benötigt. Ich habe es auch nicht installiert und hatte noch keine Probleme mit Steam.

Edit:

Ich habe da noch was gefunden zur Steam-nativ-runtime.

“Using the Steam native runtime is not recommended as it might break some games due to binary incompatibility and it might miss some libraries present in the Steam runtime.”

Gar keine, deine Steam Installation scheint schon älter zu sein. Bei mir wurde das gar nicht mehr installiert.
Ergo auch nicht die kritische Datei libidn11

Ich habe es jetzt deinstalliert und alle verwaisten Pakete entfernt.

Auch libidn11 ist nun verschwunden und bei einem Upgrade wird gemeldet das es nichts zu tun gibt. Es scheint also alles in Ordnung zu sein.

Mal sehen ob es Probleme gibt mit dem Steam.

Wenn sich meine Tochter sich beim nächsten Besuch beschwert gehe ich wieder auf die Suche. :wink:
