Vendor image on boot and loglevel

Hi,

My install was completed with quiet loglevel=3 as kernel parameters in /etc/default/grub. The boot was still not quiet but instead showing “Starting version XXX-arch” and removing vendor image. By adding rd.udev.log-priority=3 I was able to silence this message and get the vendor image to display. This is based on https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=264217

My understanding is that this is the intended behavior and therefore I suggest adding a udev logging priority rule.

I’m running 5.13.13-zen installed with akm.

Best regards,
blennster

normal grub is not possible systemd-boot or grub-silent i believe.

i had worked once but after reinstall it didnt show that up but didnt figured out why because its to short to see  instead that i silence everything.
