Those born from now on, (actually back 20 years or so,) will never know life without a computer unless parents make it a point for it to be so. (Good luck with that.) So they have that against them. AI will simply be a progression in computing to them, just like color tv was a progression from black and white tv for me. That being said, if they develop critical thinking skills maybe some will be able to navigate, what I think will be, dangerous waters ahead.

Exactly. This sickens me. I am not a fan of AI. I loathe Elon Musk and what he is doing for the reasons you have given. I also think AI is going to be very dangerous in the wrong hands.
We are quite strict as parents considering trends nowadays on media input of our daughters; on week she gets to watch ten minutes of TV (or equivalent) after super and sometimes when she wants show some pictures from our family group on WhatsApp. Bluey and Peppa The Pig are on the top charts right now.
On her daycare they have this little robot, which they sometimes “program” and sometimes they write (read: bash virtual keyboard) on tablet.
We actually went so far, that after our TV broke, we ended up getting monitor instead and use Chromecast through, audio coming from soundbar. Maine reason for this was that she won’t open news or something like that on moment when there’s something scary going on; TV news seem to have this habit of “look, here’s mound of bodies” right now. Not that it should not shown, of course.
We have not and are not going to get her tablet or phone at least until she goes to school and even then it’s probably going to be one of those phone watches.
We’re going to teach her to use technology of course, because we are both nerds.
Lets hope that goes well. Parents can t be with their child 24/7 especially during school age. Middle and high school will be the test. Them are the rebellious years for many youngsters.

… and I’m disgusted. As this company obviously is marketing their newly developed turbine directly towards data center use cases. They call it “clean” energy. But I strongly doubt that this compact package would allow the very same emission standards of an conventional natural gas power plant.
Musk may have discovered a loophole to get his data center operational. Lets hope that legislators in the US prevent this in the future. This may have worked in the US, but I guess within the EU or so, this wouldn’t be feasible.
To me it seems like that the company boom supersonic is trying to diversify it’s engine technology out of opportunity. And wants to attract new investors.
From my point of view, we don’t really need supersonic flight. And we definitely shouldn’t power AI data centers with jet engines that burn natural gas. We’ve got more than enough jets polluting our air already.

Duck AI kinda just saved me by correcting my syntax error and helping me finally successfully mount a NFS share. I did thank the AI prompt. Hopefully Skynet will spare my life in the future. 
I think AI is a great tool for coding and stuff like this. But using it to deep fake content and spread misinformation is a huge downside.
