Using qpwgraph with OBS

Hello everyone,

I’m new to Linux and wanted to route the pipewire audio with qpwgraph and using OBS for all my sources as a collection as seen here

And the Routing looks at the moment like this

The problem, which I am facing now, is that every time I use Discord and join a voice chat, the Audio of my microphone, which is routed to the OBS Studio: MyVoice and from there routed from OBS/OBS-Monitor-4 [MyVoice] to WEBRTC VoiceEngine [recStream] which is the Discord input, is hugely desynced. That means I say something and after aprox 10 seconds it arrives at discord.

How am I able to solve that? If you need any information I will gladly provide them.

Have you tried routing the audio from the mic directly to both Discord and OBS? Currently it looks like your mic audio goes through OBS before reaching Discord, which may cause delay.

Also, OBS may have a delay on the monitoring of an audio source. This can be changed in the advanced audio properties.

If you intentionally route your mic through OBS for the sake of using audio effects, look into EasyEffects.

I have a similar setup:

The mic audio is first processed by EasyEffects and the output goes to both Discord and OBS

The reason for routing my mic through OBS is because I use TouchPortal to control the volumes of each Audio inside of OBS and also the Volume of my mic. I do use some effects within OBS for my mic I will try out EasyEffects. I could simply route it directly to Discord I guess.

Sorry for the delayed answer. And thank you.

Edit: I have installed EasyEffects and also routed it from the easy effect source output to discord as well as to OBS and it works flawlessly. There is no delay and it works as intended. Thank you again
