Upgrading from neo 22.8 to nova 22.9

1/ how to upgrade from EOS neo 22.8 to nova 22.9?

2/ And how to check/ confirm which version of EOS am I on? is it just

cat /etc/os-release

I get

NAME=EndeavourOS
PRETTY_NAME=EndeavourOS
ID=endeavouros
ID_LIKE=arch
BUILD_ID=2022.08.28
ANSI_COLOR=“38;2;23;147;209”
HOME_URL=‘https://endeavouros.com
DOCUMENTATION_URL=‘https://discovery.endeavouros.com
SUPPORT_URL=‘https://forum.endeavouros.com
BUG_REPORT_URL=‘https://forum.endeavouros.com/c/arch-based-related-questions/bug-reports
PRIVACY_POLICY_URL=“https://terms.archlinux.org/docs/privacy-policy/
LOGO=endeavouros

I am assuming

BUILD_ID=2022.08.28

means I am still on 22.8 (EOS neo)?

The versions are just for the ISOs.

EndeavourOS is rolling so just update your system as normal. There is nothing special to be done.

Thanks. The reason I asked was because I installed EOS neo 22.8 on my new laptop vs endeavour nova 22.9 on my older laptop , I noticed small difference in my laptop running 22.8 the trash folder is called “trash” but the other laptop running 22.9 the trash is called “wastebasket” :grinning: and I just realized must be the language I chose during install, one must have been UK english and other US english. :thinking: . So nothing to do with different versions. :grinning:
