no my eos-welcome thingy doesn’t work so i couldn’t update mirrors. that app broke a long time ago idkw. maybe i should reinstall my system. i thought i was upto date but it has been a while since i updated.
would u do a reinstall?
i can backup all my data and do that even though it doesn’t sound fun… it might be a good idea?
Personally I would not reinstall, but the welcome app not working is perhaps a sign of deeper problems, but I’m not sure what you mean by “not working”.
There’s a wonderful wiki article [1] about system maintenance, amongst which how to update mirrors through cli.
Just for your information: When apps don’t load you can sometimes try and start them in a terminal. In the terminal you may then see some errors or messages.
But I think I wouldn’t focus on the terminal app for now.
