When using Unity sound crashes and there is no sound in headphones (bluetooth) at all. Reboot and closing Unity helps. I am new to OS so I dont know how it relates to previous releases
hello @Salieri,
welcome to the purple universe
if you use bluez, then note the following thread(briefly explained, it hangs with the bluez update)
This is how you can find out whether bluez is installed:
yay -Qs bluez
if then a result is there as by me
[pycrk@eno ~]$ yay -Qs bluez
local/bluez 5.67-1
Daemons for the bluetooth protocol stack
local/bluez-libs 5.67-1
Deprecated libraries for the bluetooth protocol stack
local/bluez-qt 5.107.0-1 (kf5)
Qt wrapper for Bluez 5 DBus API
local/bluez-utils 5.67-1
Development and debugging utilities for the bluetooth protocol stack
[pycrk@eno ~]$
then bluez( bluez 5.67-1) is installed on your system

Thanks, glad to be here)
Now when you asked I cant catch the issue(
But when I switched to wired mode of headphones all started work perfectly. And also I had exactly same issues as user from post that you quoted, so at least I can assure you that this is problem with bluez.
If I catch this problem - I will reply here with thread
