Welcome to a special edition of my EndeavourOS wallpapers
EndeavourOS City Skyline Series
In addition to my regular wallpaper contributions (EOS Wallpaper and EOS ARM Wallpaper), I’ll be creating EndeavourOS wallpaper utilizing the skylines of the great cities of the world. I hope y’all will enjoy these!
Some ideas for you to work off if you want to do Brisbane, the first 2 are what we get now during Riverfire (F-18), the last one was what we used to get before they decomissioned the F1-11s
@smokey, I like this one. I did a reverse image search and found the video from which that image was sourced. So I used yt-dlp to download the video and extracted a higher resolution image. I think I’ll attempt something with this…
Nice, be awesome to see what you come up with. I used to see all of these planes everyday when I used to live in Ipswich, we could even see the Amberley air base from the top of our roof.
Two variations. I wasn’t sure where to place the EOS logo (center or lower right corner). I like each of them, so I uploaded both. Use which ever feels right for you.
I agree it’s amazing. If you @UncleSpellbinder would ever consider sometimes doing a Grand Rapids, Michigan a shot that would be cool by this west michigander as well. I know most people would say Detroit from Michigan because it just like has that name recognition but I think Grand Rapids Michigan is the most gorgeous city in Michigan. I love it it’s considered a walking City I read somewhere. The reason for this being is it just because when you walk there you always have something cool to look at and I know this to be true from experience. There’s a huge artistic present in presence in Grand Rapids Michigan a lot of artists is all I’m saying. They leave their art all over the city sometimes. it’s just goes well with walking. Anyway I was just wondering if sometime in your free time whenever… no rushes at all if you could do one of Grand Rapids, Michigan. that would be wicked
Fr no rushes but this would be sweet everything you produce looks professional to me
Also Grand Rapids Michigan has become quite an economic hub or West Michigan in general
I’m from DesMoines and would love to see that represented as well.
@UncleSpellbinder Is the the Sears tower getting hit by lightning in that first pic? Really nice job with Smokey’s stuff as well. The Aus skyline ^ in last pic is my favorite–this has more grit and is less slick than the rest.
@whitewolfAK47, I’ll see what I can do! I’ve been to Grand Rapids many times. It has a “big city” appeal in a small town feel. Great town!
@drunkenvicar, I’ll attempt something for DesMoines. Not sure when, but rest assured, I’ll give it a shot. And yes, the Sears Tower is getting struck by lightning in that image.
actually, you don’t have to work on my behalf for free; twas a nice thought. I thought @whitewolfAK47 had a brilliant idea. You could do what no one else has done in the history of slick metropolis wallpapers: a series of midwestern/small town skylines: Fondulac, Madison, Tulsa, Iowa City, Rockford, Buffalo, Cincinatti, Erie PA, etc etc. You would have to find the stock footage. How under-stated, how unique, how creative. Lot of loveliness and character in these small usa towns. Would be a unique purple project.
