Uncertainty over Nvidia Driver Installation / LLVM Showing in Graphics Processor 2

Hello, I fresh installed this OS 2 days ago after Windows 11 bricked my laptop. Following the ‘Tips’ section of the ‘Welcome’ program I did:

nvidia-inst

Installed switcheroo-control and confirmed working here:

Alongside envycontrol and set to hybrid via command

sudo envycontrol -s -hybrid

Problem:

Noticed in System Settings > About this System that Intel Iris GPU was detected but not Nvidia RTX 3050 instead showing llvmpipe

Solutions Tried:

  1. Uninstalled steam to redo nvidia-inst due to error

error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: removing lib32-nvidia-utils breaks dependency ‘lib32-vulkan-driver’ required by steam<

  1. Attempted to follow this forum post however card specs were different and xorg solution was unusable as files did not exist.

Thank you for reading, will update to replies whenever I am available to reply and really sorry for the trouble.

I’m sorry you didn’t get a reply at the day of the post, i had the same problem and the solution is dumb yet funny though i don’t know of it’s gonna work with you, just download nvidia-dkms

sudo pacman -S nvidia-dkms

if it says that it conflicts with another one just accept and it should work. i use lightdm btw, you can use it in (change display manager) in endvour welcome app.

Hello, thank you for your time. Tried your steps and switched to lightdm (from ssdm) and it still displays as llvmpipe for Graphics Cards #2.
