Welcome to the purple side .
You could have just copypasted the output of the logs. I’m going to put your inxi

I have a question, how much disk space you gave for the endeavour installation? is it 10Gb?
No, it was a whole disk. This one:
ID-4: /dev/nvme3n1 vendor: Samsung model: SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
size: 931.51 GiB
The offline installation worked. But I think he doesn’t install nvidia drivers here, right? And i want to install kde.
it will install nvidia drivers when booting installer iso on Nvidia boot entry.
Install log is sopmehow looking very unusual… starts normal but after:
2023-03-18 - 09:23:07 [6]: [PYTHON JOB]: "(5/7) Install DKMS modules\n"
2023-03-18 - 09:23:07 [6]: [PYTHON JOB]: "==> dkms install --no-depmod nvidia/525.89.02 -k 6.2.6-arch1-1\n"
it goes nuts no clue what happen.
How is install media created?
Seems it’s a known issue you have 12th-gen intel + NVIDIA. Please try the workaround mentioned in the blow post.

Intel + NVIDIA workaround post by @dalto .
Give it a try.
yes after investigating the log ios see the same you will may need ibt=off to boot ISO properly on that hardware.
And i see that for the failed online install you have also choosen kde and GNOME better not do that. it is a massive install and not recommended to run both on the same user and personal i would not mix them on the same install too.
I know this. This was my first problem and prevented me from booting into live Linux. i booted with ibt=off.
Oh … I missed that. @dh2dev don’t install 2 DEs or WMs using the same user and when you’re using the online installer it downloads almost everything you select from the repos. Two DEs make it a big download. Just install one once you have the system up and running you can install another DE using another user.
P.S: @joekamprad Can we make a pinned thread about this new generation intel CPUs + NVIDIA issue and about the workaround until we get a fix in place?
Ok. i will try it with only one desktop environment.
although I had added “set ibt=off” manually at the first start. Unfortunately I did not make a screenshot of the error. I’ll try the installation again now.
Seems like a good idea… so we have something to link too… can create one.
