I’m unable to import assets to the Unity Game Engine. When being done with .unitypackage files, it gets to the step where it says “Preparing Package” and then stops. Dragging assets into Unity also does not work, even when Dolphin is set to X11 mode
Opening the Editor.log reveals the following error repeated multiple times:
(Unity:974809): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 14:19:59.657: g_dbus_proxy_call_sync_internal: assertion ‘G_IS_DBUS_PROXY (proxy)’ failed
I have already attempted running Dolphin in X11 mode, giving full permissions to the Unity cache folder, and using different versions of Unity Hub to launch projects (Unity Hub AUR, Unity Hub Appimage, Unityhubnative, and ALCOM)

Welcome to the community!
Please describe how you “use Dolphin in X11 mode ”.
Also, please share the output of this command from a terminal:
inxi -Fxxc0z
When you paste the output in your reply, please select it, then press “CTRL+E
”.
Thanks for the reply
Apologies. I read that there was an issue with Unity on Wayland preventing files from being dragged and dropped and that setting the Environment Variable “WAYLAND_DISPLAY=” on Dolphin fixes it. It doesn’t solve all of the issues, though
Here’s the output from the command

No need for apologies.
This shows that you are currently using an X11 session. Were you using Wayland when attempting the fix, or were you using X11?
If you were using X11, I imagine it shouldn’t work, because you wouldn’t be in the right environment (Wayland).
Also, the variable looks like it is missing an argument. Where did you find the fix?
I was using Wayland when attempting the Dolphin fix, yes. Removing the variable prevents dragging and dropping to Unity entirely on Wayland. X11 works regardless of it. The fix was from https://github.com/flathub/com.unity.UnityHub/issues/97
The ‘G_IS_DBUS_PROXY (proxy)’ failed error continues to run regardless of the variable. It seems to happen both while attempting to drag and drop files as well as when attempting to import .unitypackage files
