I am sorry; there was a typo in my instruction to you.
It should have read yay -S openexr (with a space between yay and -S). I have corrected that in my original reply to you.
I hope that, by now, you have gotten everything back in order and that your computer is working fine.
I can tell you that I don’t know how many times I have fouled up a computer and have found that the easiest way to remedy what I have done is to merely reinstall the entire operating system. Then EndeavourOS makes it easy to reinstall all of your previously installed programs.
You should periodically make a file of what you have installed “just in case” you might ever need it. The information can be found in answers to my query: How to Make a List of Installed Programs.
I hope you find this to be as helpful to you as it has been to me. Believe it or not, it takes only a very short time to effect a re-installation of the system so that doing this is nowhere nearly as onerous as it might appear to be.
