Two problems with bluetooth headphone

when I connect my bluetooth headphones, and start playing videos, it disconnects after around 2 seconds, and say the power on sound, I can fix it by turning them off and on alot of times, but it’s only a temporary fix, if I turn bluetooth off, and then on, or if I restart, it happens again, I really want to find a permenant fix, this didn’t happen on linux mint (which I had before), or any other endeavouros installs, which I had on my laptop some months ago. the other problem, which is also a problem that didn’t happen when I used linux mint, is that whenever I start playing any minecraft world, my bluetooth audio quality becomes very low quality, and I have to turn my headphones off. if anyone knows how to fix it, please help.

Such things usually happen when one of the two BT devices has a much newer BT version, or lacks a required profile (like hi-quality stereo).

I remember having had such problems with my 13-year-old Dell Latitude E6510 (running Mint at that time). Since it’s a “business laptop”, I could easily swap out the WLAN+BT board against a newer model (bought used on eBay), and all problems gone. With both Mint and EOS.

Then again, on a rolling release, things can potentially also break once in a while, usually not for long. To diagnose this, someone more knowledgeable could maybe step in here.

Haven’t had any BT problems on EOS (both KDE and Cinnamon) on two different laptops and a desktop. Yet.
