the applet on the far left is the Endeavour Cinnamon Menu applet (have no idea if this is the Cinnamon applet of all Cinnamons so trying to be accurate.) I’d like to see it have some color.
Question 1) Does anyone have any Cinnamon menu applets in other colors or forms they can share, or lead me to some?
Question 2) If I found one I lreally like, how would I replace the one I have? I don’t see a chooser or selector in Cinnmon settings. Or do I just throw it in /X Folder?

I use the Mint-Y Aqua theme as I like nice light environment, but yes the menu icon is still dull.
Changing the Menu icon is done by right click on the menu button>configure>icon
Just use any icon you like - there are zillions out there.
I use a Windows 7 blue menu icon 'cos I like it.

and move folder under the desired size to ~/.themes as it’s in linuxcruizer’s post
right-click on the icon!! I know it would be something easy like that, thank you!
