Space: Above and Beyond was an American science fiction television series that aired on Fox, it only ran for one season from 1995-1996. They never gave it a chance at a second season. It was so good.

Twin Peaks is one of my all time favorite shows. It died because the network would not let David Lynch and Mark Frost do what they wanted. Lynch and Frost had a great concept: the murder of Laura Palmer. The investigation of the murder was the vehicle to explore all aspects of the town of Twin Peaks and could have gone on for many years. The network insisted that the murder had to be solved. Lynch and Frost explained that solving the murder was killing the goose that lays the golden eggs but of course the network was too stupid to understand.
Lynch and Frost were vindicated in the end. I don’t think any other prime time show ever got another season 27 years later.
With a cult like following to this day, and yes I am a proud member of the cult, Twin Peaks is truly one of the all time best shows that was cancelled too soon and in this case it happened twice.

This show, in my humble opinion, is the BEST show to ever get canceled. It never got a real chance. The first 2 seasons (the only 2 made) are STELLAR. J.K. Simmons is absolutely brilliant.

Astoundingly great show. You are not quite right a few hours after watching this—the mark of a great show. This was like the brilliant hardcore American drama Dr. House show except with no comic relief and educators and cops (strange bedfellows) instead of doctors.

I remember catching reruns of Time Tunnel when I was very young. So glad a few years ago I was able to pick up the series. One season wasn’t it? Of course then seasons typically were composed of somewhere between 25 and 35 episodes, versus today 8 on most I watch, with multiyears between seasons

As a kid, I’d stumble onto this show by accident, never catching its name, but I adored it. Years later, as an adult, I hunted for it online and struck gold 3-4 years ago. I even bought the Blu-ray, a rare move for me, because it’s that special. You’re spot on, it’s one epic 30+ episode season, a TV treasure everyone in this genre should see at least once.
Yea they truly messed up what should of been a great series based a great first season.
