I wouldn’t be surprised in a slightest, because whole idea of private e-mail is absurd.
E-mail by it’s nature is honeypot that CAN NOT be secure / private.

What email provider do you use?

Personally i use compartmentalized anonymous free protonmail accounts, meaning: Registered inside Whonix with no real email / god forbid sms verification Different e-mails for different activity: personal, work, commercial etc and never mix those btw, there is pretty valid point of view that no e-mail can possibly be “safe”, because of protocol itself: [Is Proton Mail Really Private, Secure, and Anonymous?]
