Agree it was very easy to set up and personalise or perhaps I’m just getting more accustomed to it.
Prefer KDE Plasma if I have the system resources, go with XFCE or LXDE otherwise.
The difference between plasma & XFCE in resource consumption is really marginal. So, no real concerns there. BUT, on the other hand, KDE is in fact a disk hog. Not strange taking into account all those functions & parameters it carries along.
A rough measurement, here;
