Torrent download manager for EndeavourOS

Hi friends.

I’m looking for a torrent download manager for my EndeavorOS KDE, and I would like to know if there is one that is the best, or if they are all really the same.

When I used Windows 10, I remember using uTorrent, qBittorrent, etc. Which one would you recommend to me now that I am on EOS KDE?

Thanks in advance!

It is entirely a matter of personal preference. I like qbittorrent personally.

qBitorrent, I’ve been using since uTorrent went south. And it seems qB is faster that uT. Might be just me.

Personally, I don’t use anything like that, but there is a list of all sorts of applications in the Arch Wiki.

I use deluge but I guess qBitorrent is also fine.

Thank you all very much, friends!

I used uTorrent on Windows, but something bad happened with that program (I don’t remember what happened, but it was something like what happened with Avast Antivirus, which I also had to leave, for a privacy security issue or something like that), and then I switched to qBittorrent the last few years.

I thought it was exclusive to Windows and didn’t know it was available here, so I’ll use qBittorrent like you all recommended.

Thanks again friends!

qBittorrent, Deluge, Transmission. They all are great, just chose what feels best for your use case.

I used deluge for years - with a selection of plugins that worked until Deluge reached 2.0 - after that, I discovered qBittorrent has them maintained in the main package.

Works nicely with prowlarr too if you’re lazy to open a browser to search

Transmission is the best
