Is there somebody who can explain me how to use the tiling feature under kde 6.4?
I can invoke the tiling manager by hitting Meta-T
But that’s all. How do I use now that tiling? Unfortunately I could not find any advice in the internet.

shift + drag and drop your app, it will follow the designated tiling area that you choose to drop.

Meta + T allows you to set up your tiling layout and then as @dirn says, shift + drag and drop your windows to use it. It’s not dynamic tiling.
