Today, after hacking up the stock “clock” module for the past few months. I decided to just put it back the way it was, comment it all out, and re-write my own module called “clock” that does what I want it to.

…as it turns out, you can totally just do that… 
Open source…equals…power.
I have decided to “embrace the concept of a compositor/window manager”. That is, the Waybar has only what I feel I really need and everything else is keyboard shortcuts.
