Thunderbird version

Hello,
I just discovered that Thunderbird is in version 68 while their site and other distributions are at version 78.
Is there something I missed somewhere ?

Typing yay in the terminal should do a full system update for you. If that still doesn’t update it, it could be blocked from updates via the ignore list in pacman.conf.

Thunderbird 68 is still the version in the repos.

I don’t follow Thunderbird closely but I think there were some major breaking updates in version 78.

Thunderbird 78 is now available in the AUR. For those of you who are interested it now has end to end encryption.
