Thunderbird File Chooser

My Thunderbird file chooser is not opening;

Gtk-WARNING **: 15:41:24.435: Can’t open portal file chooser: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: No such interface “org.freedesktop.portal.FileChooser” on object at path /org/freedesktop/portal/desktop

It’s the normal Arch package of Tbird.

And I’ve tried export GTK_USE_PORTAL=1 in .profile.

Perhaps it is looking for xdg-desktop-portal-gtk

Yeh, tried that, and it made the system very sluggish, and didn’t fix it. Thanks though.

Solution found:
Edit->Settings-> Scroll down to Config Editor, search for ‘portal’. Set as follows:
