And Preferances are set the same plus camera settings as noted above.
It looks very specific to me . What a joy to be special!
I have to leave soon been very busy lately, but Thanks again.
Well it must be the camera or the cable kind-of-works. When I try the sd card Thunar mounts it fine. I’ll aquire a cable and test that next.
Thanks for the hint @eos
I t was unticked for years and worked. When it stopped working I searched and read, checked my settings, searched and read some more, noted no one else had this issue. tried lots of settings, rolled back some packages, updated them back, tried checking the script box (with no script). Reasoned it should still show up in Thunar…
Seams the problem is local e.g. lack of posts. Yet Microsoft did mount and read the sd disk. Very confusing!
But hope springs eternal. Maybe one of the forum members had something. And with your mentioning the sd card I could eliminate 2 more variables: 1) card failure , 2) Thunar can mount stuff still. I had forgotten that the cameras storage was a removable memory card.
I ordered a USB - 8 cable today, delivery in a week.but personally I think it is the camera female plug. Again Thanks, and happy trails…
