My hardware is 2.1 PC speakers hooked up to the green output jack of the motherboard.

KDE Audio controller changes nothing if I select either (Analog stereo duplex) or (Analog stereo output) respectfully.

Additionally, I have no visual feedback when I increase the volume on the keyboard.

Sounds awful needy but would just appreciate some eyeballs on how to resolve the errors.

Thanks EOS crew.

To clarify, despite the logged errors, is sound playback working?

Yup works just fine. Thanks for asking, forgot that tidbit.

This is likely related to HDMI. If you don’t use it you could disable HDMI and see if the errors disappear.

Any update on this problem OP? Seems to be the exact same issue. Mine is an HTPC, I need the HDMI support.

i bet @kmonster meant to disable hdmi audio not the display connector.

I suggested to disable hdmi completely, just to find out if it is really hdmi related. Maybe disableing hdmi audio is sufficient. Of course, if you need hdmi that is not a solution but it may help tracking down the error.

I get the same errors (19 per seconds “nov. 11 20:32:56 hermes wireplumber[989687]: spa.audioadapter: 0x5601d17829f8: can’t send command 10: Opération non supportée” when playing a video in kodi (21.1 in Debian).
Are you also using kodi at the same time ? It might be a kodi bug.

Same here when using Kodi
