In a recent discussion with a friend on telegram I was telling him about EOS and how wonderful it is.
We got in a little ‘glitch’ when I said its almost vanilla Arch, and he said I meant Ubuntu. After a back and forth that included non gentlemen like texts, we figured he was talking about EOS (Elementary OS) while I was talking about Endeavour OS.
I can no longer call Endeavour EOS, it ‘feels’ dirty now.
We use EnOS sometimes, in the same series you have also the photo Camera CANON EOS !!!
EnOS sounds much better. I use a Panasonic camera, but I have heard of EOS Canons.
A Lumix bridge !!!
But do you call EOS (EndeavourOS) eee yoss (like Canon)? or Eee oh ess?
I use a Sony A6300 BTW.
Endeavour OS
Yeah, I prefer to use the whole name too.
I do too, unless I’m strictly typing here because on this forum everyone knows what it is.
End Of Service
Goodbye
End Of Silence …
By the winged goddess of the dawn, the daughter of Hyperion!
Sounds like “good heavens!” but more
On my test VM, I’m using EndOS as a nickname.
i will use this up from now on:
By_the_winged_goddess_of_the_dawn__the_daughter_of_Hyperion__
May Eos carry you on her wings to ever higher Spheres at the first rays of the Sun
May Eos carry you on her wings to ever higher Spheres at the first rays of the Sun
That sounds like an election promise of certain politicians …
Not such a bad one if it will be kept
A politician only serves the people until the election is won.
I just realized, due to this post, that I use two “EOS’s”. EndeavourOS on my laptop and I /e/, which is often referred to as e/OS by it’s users, on my phone. Not sure why I felt the need to share that, but I just did.
