The new arm endeavour os update is causing problems is web browser loading and opening of applications and closing of the system basically the whole system is broken

you mean usually update of the packages ?
its just upgrade to gnome44 ? and there was the python version update on arch…

and in case it could be you have other Desktop installed aside? Budgie?
Interesting would be also to see what device is in use.
