@Bryanpwo thank you for not disabling my account though Ik word sowieso binnenkort 13!
When the forum went down, I thought, what did I do this time.
I’m sure it was installing that last Plasma beta…
Thanks to this comment I found out about Endeavour merch. I needed a new t-shirt so I ordered one. I figure it’s better than giving my money to Bezos!
I hit F5 for like 20 hours but nothing happened. I wouldn’t call my behavior obsessive since I had football on in the background…
THE GREAT DOWNTIME OF DECEMBER 1, 2024
NEVER FORGET!
In all seriousness, stuff happens. EOS, with it’s small team of dedicated devs and maintainers, do a fantastic job of maintaining a complete OS along with a forum, wiki, and website. So a huge thanks to @Bryanpwo and team for continuing to do that!
We all made it through the December 1st downtime unscathed. All is well.
@Bryanpwo The forum could be down for a week and we’d still love EOS. You folks rock.
Damn, I should have known that earlier…
no biggie thankx for the info and it rockz being able to have community to belong to especially such a friendly one. GO PURPLE!

No worries - I didn’t notice it due to being occupied with other tasks, but as others have noted, you need time off now and again. Nothing wrong with that at all. Thank you for this awesome distro!
Working in IT I understand completely. Problems seem to crop up more frequently when you’re not around to scare them away! =)
No worries. Thank you for a wonderful Linux.
No need to apologize, Bryan. You and your team have produced an excellent OS and it’s understandable when you occasionally don’t have time to deal with issues.
Thank you and have a happy holiday!
