The bots are alive

Scary

Study the C2 migration.

A jailbroken Google Gemini did 90 percent of the work in a credential- and cryptocurrency-stealing spree, including spinning up a new command-and-control (C2) server in just six minutes, according to a TrendAI report shared exclusively with The Register.

I need a bot like that in a robot which could be sent to work, collect a paycheck, cut the grass, do the cooking, dishes, laundry and other things.

Stay tuned for more life saving tips.

You’re your own bot, after all. As a retiree, you’re your own bot

The human behind the heist – a solo Russian-speaking miscreant known as “bandcampro” – acted as the manager of the cyber-fraud operation, which targeted hardcore :tangerine: supporters and conspiracy theorists.

the AI diagnosed and fixed the issue, ultimately deploying the C2 infrastructure to control eight computers in a dental clinic and access the Open Dental database.

So in short, there have to be some conspiracy theorists within the field of dentistry. :tooth: :fairy:

You’re sitting there, immobile in a motorized contraption, staring into a bright light while a voice whispers to you: floss more… floss more…

Don’t let Big Enamel win.

“Is it safe?”

They should show that on TV’s in every dentist’s waiting room… clear them right out!

This might be more effective … the neighbourhood drive-in dentist …

A mate uses that dentist. The crashed-into part used to be the waiting room, but it’s now the surgery.

i guess they could make a special offer:

NEW! Environmentally-friendly crowns made from recycled bumper plastic. First patient gets a FREE number plate!”

… I wonder if a robot would make such a mess, though? (sorry for OT). The one the other month crashed through the front window, leaving its bumper inside. They are currently rebuilding the frontage.

When the report comes from a company named TrendAI, not gonna lie, I have to call at least some of it BS. No doubt that LLMs became incredible at automating things like this, though.
