Systemd : can't get rid of annoying mountboot errors due to UN-installed applications

Hello everyone,

I’ve been getting these annoying boot errors for a while now. It’s more aesthetic than anything else, but…

Some time ago I wanted to test snapd, which I very quickly uninstalled because this linux operating mode bored me to no end…

Having said that, snapd seems to be getting in very deep, and I’d love to finally have a clean system…

the error lines do indeed correspond to snap applications I had tested… I have uninstalled snapd though, but there’s only one package left that didn’t uninstall with everything else (libsnapd-glib** : je suis sous debian Sid).

By the way, here's the error message I get when I uninstall :

do I still have to manually delete what's in /var/snap *?

Or is the problem related to something else?

my system always mentions the following systemd units ????

PS : I've removed the contents of /var/snap

only /var/snap/firefox remains, on the grounds that it would be write-only, and that doesn't change the fact that those damn systemd units are still displayed

Thank you for your help..

Okay, I got rid of all that crap.

i’m giving the solution for anyone who’d like to cleanly uninstall snapd and the services around it.

basically, I deleted the /var/snap directory (as the paquet manager, does’nt do it)

As a result, some systemd mount units were still referring to the /var/snap directory and these applications.

make a :

systemctl list-units --type=mount

to list them, then one by one, do (adapt with the unit name) :

sudo systemctl stop unit-name.mount
sudo systemctl disable nom-de-l-unite.mount
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
sudo rm /etc/systemd/system/unit-name.mount

no more errors on boot.

snapd really digs in deep
