Hello, I had installed EndeavourOS on my HP 250 G3 with systemd-boot option. Sometimes it freezes on the screen with boot options. When the timeout was 5 seconds, it freezes when I tried to pick another option than default, or when I didn’t touch just freezes after 3-4 seconds, but also not always. I have set timeout to 1 second since I do not really need other options than default. Now it sometimes boot normally, sometimes anyway freezes with that one second. Is there any option to fix that without reinstalling the system?
1:run journalctl --list-boots
2: run journalctl -b -2 |eos-sendlog (trade -2 with a number from a boot with the proble)
3: post the link form command 2 so ppl can see the log.
All boots listed from 1st command are proper boots, those freezed are not enlisted here. Will it be useful?
I have honestly never heard of it freezing. It is very minimal.
I suspect that either your install is corrupt or it is some kind of hardware issue.
Try running sudo bootctl install --no-variables
. That should replace the files if any of them are corrupt.
The log we like to see you is from when it is a problem. You can wait and run it when the problem is.
The issue is occurring in the bootloader. This is before logging starts.
Welcome @radiotelefonglaskany
You might make sure that in the BIOS/UEFI, these are all disabled :
- Fast boot
- Legacy boot / CSM (compatibility support module)
- Secure boot
Sharing system info may shed some light too:

I think you misunderstood me. I have a fresh installation, the list contains all registered boots. The problem occurs between proper boots, leaving no log.
OK, I will check those.
