System don't shut down

After changing my graphic card from Nvidia to AMD my system don’t shut down any more. I had installed the AMD driver and deinstalled the Nvidia. After that if i shut down i got a black screen. But I hear my PC is still running.

Give logs:

… and some more details about how you exactly switch the drivers…
Could be some left over package or configs are in the way…

So, I tried to shut down via life ISO. If i boot in the life ISO i can shut down. Now thought that if I reinstall Endeavour, the problem was solved. But it don’t.
So the Problem is not a reason of installing the amdgpu driver.

So my Hardware is:

I have installed a new graphic card and a new power supply unit. That’s all i changed.

the iso-boot is very different from an installed system…

You can try to run command on your terminal:

shutdown -h now

post here if you receive an error when run the command, if there’s no error, but the system not power off, you can try to get some erros on your system logs

if “shutdown -h now” command power off your computer successfuly, it’s not a “system” problem, but maybe a GUI problem, on your DE…

Nothing different. The PC shut down with no error, but the fans are still running.
If i shut down my windows partition there is no problem with it

I’ve got the solution. I have activated the XHCI handoff in my UEFI.

this works perfect? if you can post more details about problem and solution, I think that can be useful to other users with the same problem, and can help developers to fix this in next releases
