Whenever I turn off my second monitor, my system still thinks that it’s on and the desktop is still extended as though I have two monitors. This leads to windows appearing in what would be the second display area, and I have to use the super+shift+arrow key combo to move them. The only solution I’ve found is to unplug the unused monitor. I’m using two identical monitors over Displayport, but their names are different in nvidia-settings if it matters.
