Switching from compile to bin question

I installed oh-my-posh some time ago from the AUR and didn’t realize there is a -bin file there so have been compiling (and waiting updates) all this time. Just discovered the bin the other day and want to switch to it, but I have a question if anyone can answer…

I spent quite a while getting my prompt set up. If I uninstall the base version then reinstall the -bin, will it lose my settings or keep them?

Packages won’t remove(or install) any settings or config in your home directory.

Thanks! I suspected that was the case, but wanted to confirm…spent too much time configuring to want to rebuild lol.

conversely, if you don’t have a lot of patience, -bin is 100X faster than compile..
